Friday Rambles

As we all know, there are certain things we cannot question. History, although written by the winners in any given conflict, is in certain aspects sacrosanct. We have been given a set of numbers, however improbable, and a series of events that are unquestionable because, well, they are and if you don’t agree, bow your head in shame, you will be called names, run out of town and labelled a series of terrible things.

As you can see, I am practising self-censorship.

Why do I do this, you may ask? Because I live in the vain hope that someone, anyone of you might have the idea on your own one day to look past what you are told and with an open mind, look at what you have not been told. I can’t call things by their rightful name because otherwise, you will feel obliged to call me names and possibly report me to those who have a better grasp on history and artful facts than I do.
This is the problem, isn’t it? I can’t tell you to your face I question, I have to hope you will figure out for yourself what I am talking about. This keeps me safe, but frustrated and keeps you, figuratively, in the dark as to what I actually want to say.
Who decides what is a “dangerous idea?”
Umbrellas were a dangerous idea.
So were gas, electricity, cars, and telephony. The waltz was considered a risque dance, and yet no wedding would now be complete without it. We got used to having heated homes, and lit environments and phones have developed to the point they are now a menace in our society. I don’ think when the first call was made the poor inventor ever thought he was at the forefront of breeding a society of telephone addicted twits.

We have developed past simple scepticism of new inventions. What we have done is far more deadly.
Instead of using our ability of boundless communication to actually speak to each other, we use it as a tool to shut mouths. Whereas before we could write an indignant letter to the editor, we now plaster our opinions and thoughts over a wide range of platforms. If what we have said is particularly not de rigueur with public opinion, calls for the immediate sanctioning, tarring, and digital murder as voiced by the self-appointed righteous who lurk.amongst us. The internet did not bring us together – it has been used as a tool to pull us apart. Divide and rule is alive and well in the 21st Century.
Now I will go out on a limb here and say that all of us at some point have held an unpopular opinion and made a stance for something which we thought at some point, was a good idea. As teenagers, we all held them to the highest esteem if only to annoy our parents. Some of us hold true to our ideals, and develop past teenage tantrums and develop ourselves into self-aware, consciously responsible adults. We can argue, and we can reason. We can accept when we are wrong and we can provide proof for our convictions. We can try to convince others of our point of view in a sensible manner. We give praise where praise is due.

Unfortunately, many in today’s society have not grown up as yet. Colouring your hair pink and wearing silly hats at 16 is explainable – yet the same look on a 40 year old man is ridiculous. A “male feminist” is not a thing. It s another way to shame men into not being men. I don’t hold a much better opinion of feminists either. They are a raging nuisance. If you want to do something for women then please stop talking for me. I for one, don’t need you. I do not feel oppressed by the patriarchy, I do not feel I have been held down nor do I believe there have been any hurdles placed in my way as a woman. Everything I have achieved in my life I have done by pulling up my own bootstraps. I have not asked for favours and I have never expected any. I paid attention at school and luckily received an education. And the few men in my lifetime who talked down to me did it only once. Respect is earned, it is not given out like candy. If you want something, then I suggest you work for it – don’t expect to be handed things on a platter simply because you are a woman. There is no merit in those kinds of non-gifts.

If you want to talk about female oppression, then please go somewhere where women are actually oppressed. Women in the West believe a tax on tampons is oppression while in other countries, killing baby girls is still practised with abandon – that would be a real issue, but we prefer to hide behind our silly slogans and demand men pay for our tampons. Unfortunately, tackling that problem of killing girls would mean real work and would require a ground movement to understand the motivations, religion, context and reasoning behind it all – something our weekend feminists simply haven’t got time for. Indignation on Twitter, my dears, is not good enough. I admire the truly brave souls who do work to make real changes for women – not you lazy, virtue signallers. You aren’t activists. You are cowards. And the louder you shout, the more adamant I shall be to never hear a word you are saying. At least turn down the volume. Have a little self-respect and be mindful that not all of us can afford fancy hearing aids.

I have now said some terrible things. I deserve to be tarred and feathered. Go ahead. I will also tell you that America did not win Vietnam, that the war in Iraq was a bad idea and the active murder of the Yemenis is not right. I will say that the European Union is awful and those so-called parliamentarians should all be rounded up and have unsavoury things thrown at them in public. There is no such thing as a virtuous politician and those who try to do good are eventually done away with or are so brutally maligned they have no choice but to give it all up as a bad idea. I will tell you the State of Israel might want to remember their own history when they take pot-shots at Palestinian children armed with stones, when they themselves are using high powered weapons. Talk about taking a gun to a fistfight. But when you can write your own narrative and have all of the playground bullies supporting you, it is not long before your inflated ego elevates you to the heights of “never wrong, always right.” Who is the oppressor now?

The West is doing the same thing now with Ukraine. By blocking out everything the Russians have to say and feeding an endless one-sided narrative to an addled public is not journalism. It is censorship and it is dangerous. Funnily enough, this has happened before. But you were not taught that in history were you? WWII was not about turning us all into Germans as the historians would have us believe and as our schools have taught us. Nothing, where war is concerned, is that simplistic. Yet we have been fed a pack of lies from morning till nightfall through all the days of our lives to the point where no one can rightly say anymore where the lies end and the truth begins. The problem is we live in a world where a half-truth is an acceptable form of facts.

“Just because something isn’t a lie does not mean that it isn’t deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one who speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction…” Criss Jami

We all want heroes and we place on pedestals persons who have anything but our interests in mind. We refuse to believe there is actual evil in this world and it is practised upon us, not by mistake, but by design. We do not stand together and we don’t seem to mind if someone falls. Conservatism is a bad word but Communism is hip and lovely, so it stands to reason that the millions that died under its yoke were just victims of circumstances? Tear down statues for all the good it does you. By erasing history you are not righting wrongs. You are becoming part of the problem. Knowledge is the way out of darkness, learning objectively is the path to a better world. Understanding with an open mind is salvation. History does not repeat itself – it is designed to do so. And we, the mob with our blunt pitchforks of foolishness, fall for the same tricks every single time. Ask yourself – is this the world you want to leave behind?

  1. I had a dog once, we communicated in a very complex system of whistles. However, more folks understood than I at first thought. More understand by the day, I think. It was lonely when I got into… alternative thinking. Or thinking in general. So Ive become used to playing the odd man out. It has its charm, even if the charm is tiresome.

But for now I’ll be off to inform the wife I will no longer be paying for tampons. 🙂

    1. Alternative thinking is lonely. Fortunately there are two of us under 1 roof. I get more angry still than I should and have to keep reminding myself that not everyone is walking around with blinders on.

I had a good laugh here when I read this sentence because we are inundated with them!

“I don’ think when the first call was made the poor inventor ever thought he was at the forefront of breeding a society of telephone addicted twits.”

I’m still chuckling here! You hit the nail I’ve been pounding for a while, right on the proverbial head; actually my head figuratively because just yesterday I thought I’m so resistant to cell phones and have been since they came out; I used to actually like to check my phone messages when I would get home from working at times up to 16 hours a day and then make return calls when I could, not this eat and sleep with a cell device; and yet mine is still in the older flip style, no use for a computer going with me wherever I go! And I actually practically shit-canned mine by leaving it home and off often lately, so I can just live the way a human being was meant to live and function, certainly not like some cyber machine which is what people are becoming; who are “more clueless and stupefied” as people than ever before with their “herd mentalities” and whining B.S. “Armchair quarterbacks or digital warriors galore,” but, like the old TV add when Burger King was getting it’s butt kicked by an “old lady” stating for Wendy’s upon looking at the hamburger, chuckle, chuckle “where’s the beef;” these fools today don’t have a leg to stand on in reality, so they “flip out” regularly, maybe like just flipping burgers or the middle finger; “it’s so easy to do!”
God forbid they should struggle and suffer producing something of value in this world for God’s purposes!

“Those who have a better grasp on history and artful facts than I do.”

I’d have to say that often times even those regarded as wise sages or the person in the know are flat-out dead wrong and in some cases they don’t mind if we’re dead because of what they profess to know; a.k.a. Anthony Fauci or Klaus Schwab to name just a couple of those rising stars or really falling comets; heading to their own deep pits!

I like how a certain writer warned us of this tendency to accept that so called experts always know best and more than we do, or in the thick of it have far more wisdom than we trivial common folk! I say “rubbish, and phooey on that,” because wisdom comes from God as I see it, if one is truly attuned to life and its intrinsic “God given purpose,” then God’s Holy Spirit conveys wisdom to whomever God Himself wills! I don’t trust the science of men and women per se just because they have “Credentials or wrote some books; for Pete’s sake 15 year olds get to do that through Amazon now these days, so I’m supposed to be impressed?

This man or author who I really fancied as a young lad because I had a wild imagination and liked strange spooky tales as many young people growing up did and still do, sometimes; was none other than Edgar Allen Poe who did put it nicely stating, “Believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see.”

The crux of the matter is absolutely in my humble opinion what you stated here!

“The internet did not bring us together – it has been used as a tool to pull us apart. Divide and rule is alive and well in the 21st Century.”

You shook my head in a good way to hear a real woman say this!

“I for one, don’t need you. I do not feel oppressed by the patriarchy, I do not feel I have been held down nor do I believe there have been any hurdles placed in my way as a woman. Everything I have achieved in my life I have done by pulling up my own bootstraps.”

And I had to choose one more hard truth out of the many I liked here straightaway!

“Respect is earned, it is not given out like candy. If you want something, then I suggest you work for it – don’t expect to be handed things on a platter simply because you are a woman.”

Oh and yes history always repeats itself as far as the human race is concerned and evil most assuredly exists and is always devising a new and improved way to subvert, conquer and totally control the masses! Hitler and the “Rise of The Third Reich,” was just another attempt at that goal of world dominance just as China with its CCP are burning the midnight oil continually to eventually do just that! Biden, Putin, Ayatollah Khomeini, Klaus Schwab, George Soros and many other wonderful folks like them are chomping at the bit to get this historic long term goal to really happen! And they will do their damnedest to get it to finally happen!

I recently wrote a bit of my take on what is being fed to the populace and how so many opinions are being promulgated extensively throughout the internet and even in our daily lives in “reality!”

She was saying like some people I run into these days how she, “isn’t a huge fan of social media.” Neither am I; and don’t plan to be ever! Social media to me isn’t social, its trouble; and firstly it’s being used by the most nefarious globalist masterminds to ensnare the human race, and we should know as Christians who the real mastermind is behind it all, so “thanks but no thanks” to her offer of joining another platform she just hooked up with! The diabolical is actively working in it, thusly attracting and promoting more of the same, continually coming up with “a better mouse trap” and “we are the mice,” so therefore its much worse than a double edged sword, not of “righteousness like the Lord speaking;” but one of “great deception and mainly ulterior designs;” exploitation gone wild!
“4They worshiped the dragon who had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can wage war against it?” 5 The beast was given a mouth to speak arrogant and blasphemous words, and authority to act for 42 months. 6And the beast opened its mouth to speak blasphemies against God and to slander His name and His tabernacle—those who dwell in heaven.” Revelation 13:4-6

I know you have read this previously Eva; but just in case, I leave this excerpt above with the full piece; so if some other reader has the interest they can check it out!

I found all of this you said here to be very refreshing as a true reality check that not enough people are cognizant of or even slightly inclined to have the forthrightness and character to come right out and say! I got more than a “bang for the buck,” out of this and that is why I had to carry on here a bit!

    God bless you!

    Brother in Christ Jesus,
    Lawrence Morra III
